Propylene glycol is a widely used product across a range of industries such as cosmetics, coatings, food and more. If you have a look at your cosmetic bottles the majority of the time you will find propylene glycol in there as it attracts and absorbs water. It is also used in a range of food items such as frozen goods, ice cream, coffee, nut products, margarine and number of others.
Industrial & DIY Uses:
- Used as a heat-transfer medium.
- Used in paints and coating industry.
- The solvent is used in the applications of making fragrances, cosmetics and personal care.
- Food and flavourings.
- Coupling agent.
- Adding propylene glycol to cosmetics and medicines will help them retain their moisture content. Food additives, toothpastes, mouthwashes, tobacco, lotions, hand sanitizers and saline lotions use propylene alcohol to retain moisture.
- It is used to regulate humidity in pipes and cigars to prevent dehydration.
Propylene Glycol, Beer Brewing and Anti-Freeze – What is it all about?
Propylene Glycol, also known as Anti-Freeze, is a food grade solvent used in a variety of industries such as cosmetics, pharmaceutical and the beer brewing industry. Our Propylene Glycol is USP grade which means that it is food-grade safe.
The properties within propylene glycol is used to regulate temperature and chill within the brewing process. The importance of the glycol is to slow down the growth of wild yeast and bacteria in beerlines to reduce wastage. This also adds in the purification process of the beer.
There are different requirements for how much glycol you will need so it is important to read the glycol chiller instructions about how much you need.

SAFETY

- Contain and absorb on suitable chemical material.

- Firefighters MUST wear full protective clothing and self-contained breathing apparatus.
FIRST AID
- If Swallowed contact a doctor or poison information center immediately and show container or label.
- In case of contact with eyes rinse immediately with plenty of water and contact a doctor or poison information center.
- In case of contact with skin, wash contacted area with soap and water.
- If inhaled remove to fresh air.
- If not breathing, give artificial respiration.
- Prevent material entering sewers.

Can I pick it up?
Yes, we are located in Penrith. Unit 3, 10 Production Place Jamisontown NSW 2750.
Are we open to the public?
Yes, we are. You can buy direct from us by paying card or cash. You don't need to be a business customer to buy. Anyone can walk in and buy from us.
We are open from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday.
What can you pay on pick up?
We accept cash or card (Visa, MasterCard, AMEX, EFTPOS).
Information Regarding Pick Up Of 200LTRS
200LTRS can be picked up as long as they are stowed and restrained within rigid sides or gates; and no dangerous article or package containing dangerous goods may protrude above the sides or gates by more than 30% of the height of the article or package; and no parts of an article or package may protrude horizontally beyond the sides or gates.
Information Regarding Delivery
We know you’ll be keen to receive your order as quickly as possible. Please make sure you provide us with:
- A valid delivery address (either residential or business) as we cannot ship our products to PO Box or Parcel Collect, and
- Contact phone number so we can contact you if there are any issues with your consignment.
Our couriers require the customer’s phone number for each delivery. We can’t book your delivery unless you have provided us with a valid daytime phone number.
We pack every order carefully to ensure it reaches you in good condition.
Your order will be sent through one of our preferred couriers.
After payment has been received, your order will be processed by the following business day. The approximate cut-off time for same-day dispatch is 11 am.
Shipping timeframes:
Shipping charges are calculated depending on the quantity, weight, location and if it contains dangerous goods.
