With the recent outbreak of COVID19 in NSW, we want to take this opportunity of how important sanitation is. The main benefits of hand sanitiser are cleanliness, portability, less risk of infection/ disease.
You may ask why is it important for us to be using hand sanitiser?
When it comes to being in a public setting and touching surfaces you never know who has touched the surface and what germs/ virus could be laying on that surface hand sanitiser is great to use when soap and water is not available it kills 99.99% of common germs and allows your hands to be clean within seconds, it's the perfect way to stay safe in the world we live in today.
You're about to buy hand sanitiser, but you don't know what to look for?
There are many brands and companies that use the wrong amount of alcohol in their hand sanitisers. The minimum recommended alcohol content is 60% - 80% depending on which type of alcohol is used. The World Health Organization's formula is 80% Ethanol/ Ethyl Alcohol or 75% Isopropanol.
Hand sanitisers with less than 75% alcohol content can be ineffective against germs, meaning they may not kill bacteria on your hands. Make sure your Hand Sanitiser has the correct percentage of alcohol.
We use a low odour and low allergenic alcohol in our hand sanitiser, it is more expensive but the end result is a much better product.
